This position is responsible for planning, developing and monitoring a variety of administrative and technical support services. Looking for a friendly, self-motivated person who possesses the ability to work flexibly, efficiently, and effectively in a rapidly changing environment. This also includes the ability to work in an ambiguous environment and continue to make progress on multiple projects, which may require switching focus frequently between projects. Effective communication both orally and in writing are critical as is establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Will be expected to work appropriately with highly confidential information and work cooperatively with other departments and other entities such as business, governmental and nonprofit. The position requires the need to work flexible work hours and in some cases extended hours.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Possess a valid Class C Texas Driver License.
Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Public Relations, Marketing or related field. (Two complete years of related experience can be used in lieu of one year education).
Knowledge of QuickBooks, Social Media, Outlook, Web Authoring Tools and Mapping Tools is a Plus!
