Grant is Designed to Help Local Businesses Increase Their Online Presence
(October 7, 2024) ROCKDALE, Texas – The Rockdale Municipal Development District (RMDD) is excited to announce the launch of the Digital Marketing Grant program, designed to enhance the visibility of small businesses in the digital marketing realm. “We understand that a lot of marketing occurs digitally on websites and social media,” described RMDD Board President Nathan Bland. “For our local businesses to be competitive, they need to learn how to do this and this innovative grant program looks to help them get started.”
The Digital Marketing Grant program was established to provide financial assistance and resources to businesses looking to leverage digital marketing tools and strategies. With the increasing importance of a strong online presence, this initiative aims to help local businesses thrive in a competitive marketplace.

“All a business needs is to complete an application, present it to the Board for approval, and then get started,” explained RMDD Executive Director Jim Gibson. This is a dollar-for-dollar match up to $750. “The grant can help pay for things such as video content creation, professional photography, advertisement creation, branding, logo creation, and website design.”
Bland continued, “We hope this presents an opportunity for local businesses to try something new to drive some traffic their way.”
